The Gay Activists Alliance, founded in April 1971, held local politicians
and political candidates accountable to the community by sponsoring candidate
questionnaires and candidate forums to assess candidates' friendliness
and support of GLBT concerns.
The following questionnaire was distributed to candidates running in
the September 10, 1974 primary election in Washington DC.
